Lisa Salgado has worked in the hospitality industry for over 25 years, leading teams in operations, food & beverage, guest services, and sales & marketing. With everything going on in the world, Lisa wanted to find a way to use her expertise to pay it forward and help those in need.
Lisa made the decision to donate her time to others and began working as a career coach. Through her Facebook page she’s managed to provide mentorship for individuals going through difficult career transitions. She’s managed to cultivate a platform where leaders can discuss strategy and new industry integrations.
By offering free coaching, she has gained an overwhelming positive response.
“So many people out there cannot afford to pay a coach to give them some hope,” said Lisa.
Her goal is to help show people the light at the end of the tunnel. She strives to help them to realize their strengths and find opportunities during a crisis. Having services at no cost has been one of the best decisions she’s made in her career.
With the U.S. implementing lockdown measures in response to the pandemic, many who wouldn’t have time, have been able to utilize these services. Just having an ear for people to voice their concerns has been appreciated by many.
